Wonderful selection of food! I would highly recommend the Buffet. It has a warm, cizy atmosphere and everything is very clean.

This place is awesome! The food is marvellous! The wait staff is superb!! We were in the restaurant until a little after close(I know. we're not usually those people), but they never made us feel like they were just waiting for us to leave. They were gracious until the very minute we walked out the door.

Went because I had a gift card. I am not a seafood eater, and there are very few non seafood options. Everyone else in our group had seafood & said it was excellent, great portions. I had chicken Caesar salad & it was excellent. The chocolate bourbon pecan pie was so good! Our service was amazing, in fact every single employee we passed greeted us, etc. I give it 5 stars simply for the great service & attentive, friendly, smiling employees!

Had their breakfast buffet and everything was fresh and delicious! The made to order omelette’s were superb! As soon as we walked in we felt welcomed. As we were seated with a view of the ocean, we were told that a shrimping boat had been going up and down in front of the restaurant, so watch for it because there had been some dolphins spotted as well. Our server was Shawna!! What a wonderful person!! She chatted with us and we felt like we had been friends for years! There is nothing negative about our experience. Even the ambiance was very comfortable. We will definitely be back the next time we go to Myrtle Beach!!

I love this place! It looks like restaurants that we went to many years ago in cape cod. They have a wonderful menu and the food is always superior!

The she crab soup is the best I've ever eaten. The crab cakes have changed a little but they're still delicious. I'd prefer the lemon dill sauce though. Things changed in the 20+ years that is eaten there last haha. Dining oceanfront adds to the atmosphere. I certainly won't wait another 20 years to go back.

Crab dip wasn't great but I got a steak that was amazing. Hushpuppies were also really good.

We came for lunch and was seated right away We had fried shrimp,fliounder,oysters and scallops. They were.fried to perfection.. The she crab soup was very creamy but could of had a little more crab. The crab cake was all meat very little to none filler. The atmosphere was great with a view of the ocean. Great place to eat and enjoy your meal

Service was mediocre. Management was absolutely horrible. Drinks were severely over priced for the atmosphere. Menu was changed for reasons unknown. Have eaten here for 14 years with no issues but now they’ve changed the menu and the wine list. Don’t fix what’s not broken. The entire experience is now horrible. New management has no clue as to customer service, I dint care how many awards you have. Speaking from experience.

Oceanside with beautiful views! Seafood was delicious. Altered to suit my palate with no problems with request.Cocktails reasonably priced. Waitress was outstanding. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will be returning!!

Service from Michelle and atmosphere were excellent. Food was also excellent except for the twice-baked potato which looked and tasted like it had been sitting quite a while. Otherwise, it would have been a 5 star.

I read some really good reviews of this place so had to try it. Was not disappointed! Best scallops I've ever had! My husband had the seafood platter with flounder, shrimp and scallops. We both opted for broiled. Omg, so delicious!!! I think we'll try breakfast next! Oh, also had crab cakes for starter. Yummmm! Highly recommend this place!

I rather enjoyed my dining experience here. I think my entire family did as well. My son had been really wanting to try sea bass so I ordered an appetizer of the Chilean sea bass and we all tried it and it was very good. My son enjoyed it very much and he is an extremely picky eater. Nice concept and theme with an ocean front view combined with very good food. I think it's a must stop for anyone looking for a dining experience and not just a meal!

First time here today with a friend for lunch. Waitress Carol was nice and attentive. Food was really good. Had she crab soup and the platter with fried flounder and scallops and broiled shrimp. Best scallops I’ve ever had. Beautiful to be right by the water too.

We went for lunch yesterday. Our waitress was one of the nicest we have ever encountered. We can’t remember her name but she was a lady with a very delightful personality, highly competent and attentive as well as Grandmotherly and super with our kids. We highly recommend the food as well. Hush puppies delicious. Thank you for a great experience. Best wishes for a healthy 2020 for her.

Hospitality and service for dinner here is a 10! Don't believe a "full" online reservation status, as there were plenty of good tables when we went. We had the Jambalaya and Muddle, and both were loaded with seafood. We're still debating if their hush puppies were the best, but they were the only ones we took as leftovers (and we finished them off). Easy access and plenty of parking is across the street.

Loved it. Robbie is the best. They are working hard to make good food in safe atmosphere.

My husband’s steak was tough and gristly. Our garlic potatoes were cold like they had been sitting on the bottom of the pan. The vegetables were bland and too large so they were almost raw. I ordered the stuffed flounder but got the plain flounder with nothing except tartar sauce. My friend’s pecan crusted grouper has very few pecans. The manager took 1/2 the price off my husband’s dinner but the fish was not worth $30. The manager said the restaurant had several complaints about the steak so why would it continue to serve it? The best parts of the meal were the hot hush puppies, good service and the wine. The view was awesome. Would not return to this restaurant.

Casual and comfortable place to eat. We eat here every time we go to Myrtle Beach. The seafood here is exceptional. Service is great also. It's located right on the water. Great views and romantic atmosphere. Reservations are always recommended. Well worth the wait.

We don't have a problem splurging for a good meal however, these entrees were extremely overpriced. $20 for a salmon salad seems a little extreme. This was our first dinner down here, so maybe everything is priced like this.The hush puppies were amazing though! This wouldn't be at the top of my list, thats for sure

This restaurant was AMAZING! The crab cakes were phenomenal and all crab not a lot of filler. Bang bang shrimp were cooked perfectly and the grilled lobster melts in your mouth. The atmosphere was nice and CLEAN! Our server was pleasant and attentive. She was the cherry on top of a great dining experience!

I did not know what to expect. I was seated in the ocean view area. Beautiful view. Greeted in a friendly way. The place is huge, has many rooms, and more than one floor. The food : Ordered a mozzarella and green pepper omelette. Very good, and excellent quality wheat toast. Real butter. Home fries were a bit cold, but ok. Service: It was great ! Tori and Tonia (trainer) were prompt and cordial. Loren came over to say hi, because he remembered me from the former place he worked at. When he told me, then I recognized him. Cool ! He has a great disposition. The buffet spread looked good, for when you are really hungry. I would definitely stop by to eat here again.

"A Classic"..... During our visit....had the most amazing...delicious food! We were so Happy with our food selections! We did a tapas approach. Started with sea bass bites lightly breaded followed by the shrimp cocktail with home made sauce. A1. Finished with a cup of she crab soup and new England clam chowder. The attention to quality is their signature.

Wow! Wow and Wow! The food was delicious, presentation was off the chain. Staff courteous, professional, knowledgeable and swift. Definitely reasonable for the quality, atmosphere and breathtaking view with the option of sitting in or out on the deck. I will definitely visit again.

Our NYE dinner was a complete Joke! We were sat in a dark corner in a side room off the main lobby - no heating and no atmosphere. $90 for microwaved/reheated risotto and a cold lump of sea bass. The desert (to share by the way) was supposed to be praline chocolate with peppermint ice-cream... I wish I had taken a photo... We got a sugar bowl with one scoop of vanilla ice cream and a starlight mint... Yes a starlight mint... Really??!! Tourist Trap!!

Baked potato was from night before. Seafood was greasy. Portions kinda small.

We stopped in the other evening. Had a couple of drinks at the bar and a couple of appetizers. Fried fish bites were delicious but the fried calamari was the best I have ever had! The view was spectacular! Jerry the bartender was very entertaining and made for a fun evening. We will definitely be back. Thank you for the rose Jerry! Made my night!

Food was exceptionally delicious. Multiple servers attended to our group. The view of the ocean provided a scenic backdrop.

We came here without reservations and the wait was about thirty minutes. They did have an area in the back that you could wait at and get a drink or play corn hole, so that was nice! The food was delicious! They serve small and tasty hush puppies! The tuna with cauliflower mash was very good!

This place is amazing!! Our waiter was Jesse and he was polite and respectful. He looked after us well without being pushy or absent. The food was so fresh and well prepared. Shrimp was lightly fried and fresh. The crab dip was the best I've ever eaten and the dessert was from the culinary institute and was out of this world good! If you're in the Myrtle Beach area you have to stop by and ask for Jesse!! Chad and Penny Richardson

I was here for a trade show and came here with some clients. I had surf and turf and I was not disappointed! The food was prepared perfectly, ample side dishes, and a good stock of bourbon.

We always make it a priority to eat here when we are in Myrtle Beach. The seafood is always top of the line and the service is never a disappointment. They hire the best servers!! We were here on New Year's eve, 2019 and although the place was super busy, we received the best service!! We love dining here!!

We felt like we did not receive the value that we expected for the money that we spent. The service was slow and there were 4 waiters working. All the seating was outside due to covid and I counted 8 tables that had people at them. We had to ask three times for lemon. When the soup arrived I could not believe how tiny the cup was. They are using all plastic and paper because of covid but they should atleast fill up the cups of soup atleast half way. My husband’s seafarer dinner salad was not much larger than my side salad. When the 21.95 flounder came there was one piece and a half of another piece. $95 later for three people and we were upset. We won’t be back.

It was absolutely amazing. Our service was top-notch! We just got married and we're on our honeymoon our server made it so special for us by bringing us a dessert with a candle. We could not see the ocean outside it would have been nice if they had some lighting though oh, that would have helped the audience. Definitely would recommend and we'll be back.

Adorable place! I loved the charm. The waitress was fabulous. We had a large group and she was courteous, quick and helpful. The scallops were the best I've had in a very long time. Everyone really enjoyed their meal.

Food made me sick to my stomach. Peice of metal was in one of my hushpuppies. Management offered a refund and a free complimentary meal, however I will never eat here the rest of my life. In need of a thorough health inspection.

Terrible food experience on the bad side. Flounder stuffed with crab was cold in the middle. The fried calamari will require that you bring a water tower with you. She crab soup was ok but clam chowder is liquid as water and tastes burned fine herbs. Price wise, totally not worth it considering we ate at highly rated restaurant in Miami and New York with entree around the $40.00 and it was far better. The waitress was very friendly, that's the good pointThis is personal review but others may find it appropriate while other won't, sorry and enjoy the rest of your vacations in MB !

Always a pleasure eating at The Sea Captains house. So many Greetings walking in and walking out by staff. Makes you feel wanted and special. The food is always great and consistent.

So good I want to keep it a secret. 5 star food and service on the beach with class and style and the best food and drinks in Myrtle beach!! Jordan is amazing how he makes this place rock.

An amazing spot with such great ambience! I recommend sitting at a table by the window so you can see the ocean. I got the Caesar Salad with grilled chicken and it was absolutely delicious. The complimentary hush puppies were great as well, i just couldn’t get enough! Very excited to come back to this place soon. Check it out if you’re ever in the area for sure!

We celebrated our 39th anniversary. We made reservations 2 days in advance. We were seated on time. We chose outdoor seating. It was great to sit close to the beach and hear the waves There was awesome live music. Service was friendly. It was a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. We ordered the 8 oz filet mignon and seafood trio. The food is awesome. The portions were just right. For an appetizer, we had the crab dip. There was no skimping on the crab.

Had dinner there last nite. One of the best dinners out in a very long time. Crab cakes were outstanding. Service was the best thanks to Jesse C. Don't hesitate, it's GREAT!

Great she crab soup everything else was meh or worse. I get that this restaurant is just opening up like all of myrtle Beach but for 100 bucks for 2 people for food like this is pretty crazy. I've had better sea food at red lobster that was a thousand miles away from the ocean. Thats pretty sad

What a wonderful experience this place is. From being greeted as we arrive to genuinely being greeted as we left, our entire visit was joyful. Our waiter, Lamar has been there for 9 years and spoke glowingly about ownership and his experience working there. Food was really good, and the relaxed atmosphere was perfect for the beach. We capped our night with key lime pie, and it did not disappoint. This place is a gem. Nice change from all the chains in the area. We will surely be back!
